Jack began his retirement plan career in 1978 with Shadur, LaVine & Associates, one of the largest and most respected private retirement plan companies on the West Coast. His experience in administration, design, actuarial compliance and management led to his assuming management responsibility for Integrated Financial in Orange County in 1985 and subsequently managing both the Orange and San Diego County operations.

In 1988 Jack became a Senior Vice President of IDS/American Express and managed the pension operation for IDS in Southern California. In 1990, with the sale of the IDS/American Express operation, Jack moved to Frailey & Associates, Inc., a small, well known regional firm and assumed responsibility for consulting and marketing. In 1999 Jack joined ACI, a larger boutique firm in Southern California and in 2000 became a partner.

Jack formed his own firm in 2006 in order to bring a fresh approach to building dynamic retirement plan strategies.

Jack and the firm are members of The American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, The
National Institute of Pension Administrators, and the Western Pension & Benefits Council. Jack sat for many years on the Board of the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation where he was National President and chaired the Planned Giving and Audit Committees as well as was a member of the Compensation and Benefits committee. He has been a featured speaker for many businesses and groups including the California CPA Educational Society and the Family Business Forum sponsored by the USC Marshall School of Business.
